A Fistful of Hope exists to open doors — safe, stable, supportive homes for people in the hardest moments of transition.
We're beginning where the need is sharpest and where we can serve well: young people aging out of foster care in Georgia. But our charitable purpose reaches further. In the chapters ahead, we'll extend the same safe housing and real support to others working to rebuild — each community with its own needs, each welcomed with the same dignity.
A Fistful of Hope offers safe shared housing and support to people rebuilding their lives — from those in recovery to youth aging out of foster care, veterans, and others — helping them find stability, dignity, and independence.

Every year, thousands of young people leave foster care with no family to return to and no safety net to catch them. This is where A Fistful of Hope starts — with safe housing and wraparound support through our first program, Pathways to Stability. Pathways to Stability is the model behind everything we do: safe housing paired with real support, helping people move from crisis to independence. We're launching it first with young people aging out of foster care — and it's the same framework through which we'll serve every community in the chapters ahead.
Chapters To Come
Each of these is part of why A Fistful of Hope was founded. As we grow — and as support and partnerships allow — we'll open our doors wider.
A sober, safe, and supportive home for individuals recovering from addiction — free from alcohol and drugs, centered on peer support and the connection to services that make lasting recovery possible. A place where a setback doesn't mean losing your home, and where stability and self-sufficiency can take root.
Shared housing for elderly individuals who can no longer safely or affordably maintain a home alone — a more attainable alternative to costly assisted living, in good neighborhoods, with the social connection and support that make later years safer and fuller.
A place to heal and regroup for veterans transitioning back into civilian life or facing homelessness. Safe housing and support to help those who served move from despair to hope — with the room, time, and community to recover, grow, and step into their next chapter.
Beginning with young mothers working toward stability for themselves and their children — a nurturing home and the support to build a secure future together. In time, we'll grow to welcome survivors of domestic violence, with the safety planning and care that chapter requires.
A stable, welcoming place for individuals returning to society after incarceration — offering recovery, safety, and the basic footing people need to get back on their feet, find work, and reconnect with community and family.
Special-needs adults, disadvantaged individuals, and others vulnerable to homelessness as housing costs climb. Wherever safe, affordable, supportive housing can change the course of a life, A Fistful of Hope aims to be there.
